GREAT new spot for lunch in CZM - 40 Pesos!

Okay, now that I've been there a few times I can recommend it. There's a new restaurant in town that has a fabulous lunch for only 40 pesos, and that includes soup, chips & salsa, entre and orange juice or tea. Yesterday they had a chicken based soup with pasta and I had the chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese - it was delicious. Last week I had their sliced beef in a tangy sauce & it was great. You can order the special - it is posted on a marker board out front or order from their dinner menu - excellent beef or chicken fajitas is 70 pesos.

The name of the restaurant is San Miguiel Cafe and they are located just 2-3 blocks from the downtown square on 15th avenue between 2nd & 4th street. From the church on the square - go inland 1 block and turn left - they're on the right. COLD :p air conditioning and great service. The waiters do indeed speak English. If you're staying on the island - they have a great bar that's open till 2AM on the weekends. Very cool - glass block bar & waterfalls on both sides & big screen in the middle.
