Sparkylok6 Posted February 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2007 I stayed in room 11100 3 years ago and will be again on 4/1. The only perk is the concierge. I only used it once during the last trip and honestly, the concierge did no more for us than I could have done myself. I think it was making a reservation in Venetian or something like that. The self serve laundry room is about 4 doors down toward the front of the ship. Good location. If you have any other questions let me know. angeljt Posted February 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2007 We were in 11512 in Nov/Dec 2006, and it was very nice. There is a curtain you can draw to seperate the sleeping area from the sitting area. The bathroom has a seperate shower/tub, vanity/sink, and closet area. We never met or spoke to the concierge who was replacing Claudio while he was on his vacation. If you want concierge service, you will have to get in touch with them. Our room stewards were great, and so was our cruise! Hope yours is the same. Jackie
LateCruiser Posted February 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2007 The biggest perk is the extra size of the room (over a normal BA-BD Balcony Stateroom) and the extra space in the bathroom. The extra room space equals a large closet and many storage areas (drawers and shelves).:)
angeljt Posted February 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Yes, there is quite a difference in the size of the balcony rooms and the mini suites, but I would cruise in either of them, especially today. It's very cold and windy here!
