March 23 Hotels... No Luck!!

What is going on March 23-24? We can not find a hotel room? Should we stay in Metairie or Kenner? if so whats safe? HELP please!!!! Seems like all the decent hotels are taken?

I'm not sure what is goin on that weekend, but I can tell you a place to stay that is safe, has plenty of eating places within walking distance, and has a shopping center just across the street. To top that off, I hear they allow free parking for cruise guests. The Hampton Inn in Harahan. It is on Mounes. It is a very safe area. I live in the area so let me know if you have any other questions.

There is a 30,000 person College of Cardiology convention in town, that's why there are no rooms!

What about Quality Hotel and Conference Center Metairie? Safe area?? i also looked at the Hampton Inn but we are not even getting into town until midnight so i hate to pay almost 200 for just a few hours!

Hope this hotel is ok! this is what we booked tonight for $89. everywhere else it was 159. reviews read ok...just a little old. any info on the hotel will be appreciated! thanks for all the help so far!!!!
