Knighton Posted February 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2007 What is the water temp in Nassau at the end of March? Will my 3mm full suit be enough, or should I add my nylon dive skin to it? I don't want to freeze!
Stevesan Posted February 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2007 Since there hasn't been a response, let me try to help. I don't know the temp, but I'd guess abour 75 deg in March. I've snorkeled Nassau twice, both times during Winter. The water was cool, but definitely not cold. A rash guard, or just plain tee, shirt helps keep the torso from chilling. However, I don't see that a wet suit is necessary.

waterrats Posted March 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2007 Cool. I will be in Nassau the first week in April and am glad to hear that it just on the cool side. My summer dives in the quary in VA are in 45 degree water so I know what cold feels like. Joe
