rich_r31 Posted February 13, 2007 #15 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Did you try the fish and chips? up on deck 10??? Also if you have time, ask someone how they handle someone in a wheel chair during the Life Boat drill. Fred I was on the Liberty last month, and a Carnival rep pushed the person in the wheel chair up to the muster station after almost everyone was already there and stood near the doorway until the drill was over. bubbles1209 Posted February 13, 2007 Author #16 Share Posted February 13, 2007 We're having a blast, will have the answers to all of your questions a little later, just seeing them now, if I don't get back to ya, I'll have the answers in my review upon my return. We got cabin 2462 (one of the L shaped cabins), yes there are 2 windows, yes I got pics:D . DH won $650 in the casino last night playing 3 card poker, I was $250 ahead of the $50 I started with, wound up donating it, but had fun. We did Freeport yesterday, today's a sea day, tomorrow is Caymans (stingray swim), Costa Maya the next day (dolphin swim). We're going to Harry's tonight. Happy Valentine's everyone, and if I don't post back by the end of the week, I will when I get home:)

madisonswims Posted February 14, 2007 #21 Share Posted February 14, 2007 We are going on the Liberty in December. We can hardly wait! Would love to hear about the ship. When you say "huge", is it huge good or huge not good - and why? My husband is so interested in going on a huge ship!!! We will be going to the Eastern Caribbean. Would loved to hear the islands you visit and your thoughts! Enjoy!!!! Looking forward to your review!!!
bubbles1209 Posted February 18, 2007 Author #22 Share Posted February 18, 2007 We're home everybody!! I hated to come back, but here are some answers to the questions you asked, and as soon as I get some rest and have a chance to get the pics done, I'll post a review. We had an awesome time:D ........Now, I have a major case of pcd:eek: :( Firefighterhoop- Hi, Could you Please tell me what concerts are on the Big Screen, as well as movies in the evening. Also What time are the pools open until? Also, who is your Cruise Director? Big screen concerts-Beach Boys the first day (twice, 2 & 10) followed by Cars (family, animation) at 6 & 8 p.m. Sheryl Crow 2nd day (twice, 12 & 6:15 p.m), followed by the movies Mission Impossible III at 8 p.m. then Superman Returns at 10:30 p.m. Tom Jones the 3rd day (twice, 3:30 & 6:15), followed by the movie Talladega Nights at 8:30 p.m. Tina Turner came on at 6:15 on day 4, and the movie in the afternoon before her was The Shaggy Dog at 1:30. The movie after her concert was Pirates of the Caribbean II Dead Man's Chest and it started at 8. Day 5, Cher was on at 6:30 that evening followed by a movie called The Wild at 8, and The Davinci Code at 10. Day 6, Diana Krall at 5:30, followed by Andrew Lloyd Webber at 7, which was followed by the movie Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade at 9 p.m. The Cruise Director was Todd Wittmer, and the pools worked like this: Swimming Pools:-8 a.m.-8 p.m. (Forward & Mid Pool, Lido, deck 9. Whirlpools- 8 a.m.- 10 p.m.(Lido Deck 9, forward & mid). 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (Spa Carnival, Deck 11 forward), and 8 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. (Lido deck 9 aft). Waterslide hours were 12 - 5 on Port days weather permitting. jbhcw- Could you perhaps check and see who the enterainers are in the supper club and/or the Atrium Bar if you get a chance. Thanks In the supper club the entertainers were Patty & Dale, in the Atrium Bar.......I'm guessing you mean the lobby bar, there was classical with Cassovia, piano entertainment with Mario, and live jazz with Opus 3. cruisinbuddy- Is Robert still in the piano bar He most certainly is:) honeywell- Just wanted to know what time you arrived at embarkation and how quickly you were on board? We finally got picked up from our hotel by 1 p.m- you'll see more on that in my review, but were on board the ship with drinks in hand about 25-30 minutes later. Wennfred- Did you try the fish and chips? Can't say that I did. Sorry, I'm not much of a fish eating person unless I cook it myself. It's just one of my little quirks I guess. Eating shrimp cooked wherever never bothered me, but I'd just rather eat fish that I cook. sleepless cruiser- what is the name of th reggae band out on deck? will be on the liberty 3/3/07. Sailaway was with Island Music, they also had The Mickey Utley Band at night. I think that answers all the questions everyone asked, like I said, I'll be posting a review as soon as I finish putting it together. DH asked me what book I was writing today (I was writing the review during our layovers) and I told him. He told me I was gonna hurt ya'll's eyes. I told him you guys luvvvvv long detailed reviews( I know I do):p As soon as I'm done, I'll post it.
bubbles1209 Posted February 18, 2007 Author #23 Share Posted February 18, 2007 P.S.- In Harry's there was piano music being played, didn't see too many people dancing. As you walk into Harry's we were seated around the corner almost in a corner, to the right. Couldn't see very much from there.
