Wansbrough Posted February 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2007 I am booked to go on the Magica Eastbound TransAtlantic in May and wondered if anyone has any experience of listening to MP3 players in their cabin through the TV. Most TV's come with external device sockets and i wondered if the TV's in the cabin have these sockets. Perhaps some of you have used your CAM's through these sockets. It would be nice to hear from anyone with some experience of this. :)
cajuncrewmate Posted February 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2007 I am curious also - would be nice to bring a portable DVD player to be able to watch movies at night in our cabin - does anyone know if there are ports/jacks available (e.g., RCA) to plug into? joetrizeo Posted February 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2007 i did not look on Magica but i for what it's worth the victory had RCA (composite) jacks (A/V red white, yellow) in the back. if i had to guess i'd say they'd have thoes in the back. almost all tv's have thoes. use your audio 1/8" to red/white rca (composite) breakout cable (radio shack) to plug in from your player to the tv. same thing with a portable dvd player (most come with these cables). make sure you put the tv on the proper input! (switching to channel 3 or 4 only worked in the olden days of RF converters :) )
