Paradise Beach excursion

Yes take a taxi to the beach! Just tell the taxi person you want to go to Paradise beach and they will take you.

There is no charge for the beach, just walk right in, some one will approach you to help you find a spot, they will tell you that there is no charge for the chairs but they expect you to eat and drink (or at least drink;) ) It is very clean, very safe and friendly there. Sometimes crowded but reasonably so.

I have been three times now and will be going a fourth in April. The manager is Tom and he run a good team of people.

Have fun!

I have not seen an excursion for Paradise Beach from Carnival - is it better to just take a cab and go on your own. Thanks

We are going on Carnival too, the Paradise Beach Excursion thru Carnival is called the Isla Pasion Beach Adventure. That is the one we are looking into also. Either that or Playa Mia (Playa Sol).

No, they are two completely different beaches. There are no cruiseline excursions that go to Paradise Beach Club.

How long is a taxi ride to paradise beach and what is the cost?

thanks

about 15 minutes and cost between $10 and $15 for up to 4 people in a taxi.

Nothing against Paradise, but the info has changed...

they do require $10 food purchase per person, kids included....also the wristband to use the water toys is $9 per person, kids included...

No, it is NOT an unreasonable or high fee...but for some people, who have heard the repeated mantra of "free loungers" etc on these boards they might have a problem if they go there with limited cash and lots of kids, not prepared for the charges.

Apparently this was a recent development. So come prepared.
