Will sunscreen harm my mask?

How much degradation you will get depends on the composition of your mask skirt and the type of sunscreen you use. Typically, a high quality of scuba mask will be much less affected due to the better quality of silicone used.

Clean your mask seals & skirt when you get back. You can use a little bit of toothpaste - put some in the palm of your hand with a little water, then gently rub the seals with some of that on your fingertips. Rinse well and let air dry.

If you always rinse and clean your mask well in fresh water, it should last for years.
