Caribelle Batik Expensive? Others?

Hello. We are stopping at St. Kitts on our cruise in a few months. I am a collector of Batik textiles. Does anyone have any info about Caribelle Batik and/or other Batik stores on St. Kitts? How is the cloth sold - in bulk, or made into clothing or framed as art? Pricey? Any info is appreciated.:o

You've come to the right island for Batik! You can also purchase it at Island Hopper located in Basseterre near The Circus.

 

You can buy it as artwork or clothing. I have one of their prints in my home.

We bought the following from Caribelle Batik

 

2 large prints for framing on wall (2 x 3 or 3 x 3 feet)

2 small prints (1 x 1 foot)

2 seat / pillow cushions

1 ladies cami shirt

1 ladies long dress (knee high)

1 ladies scarf

 

Total was $235. The two large prints and the ladies dress are amazing. The place is well worth a visit. Add $40 for the cab.
