Port Everglades to FLL- book car or not?

When we fly in to FLL we figure we will just hop in the next taxi

but should we book a car service for the trip back to the airport

 

are the lines really long for taxis? I dont want to have to worry about waiting in a line and being late for airport--KWIM?

 

We disembark(Costa) at 8 am on 3/4 and have a 12 noon flight out of FLL

 

what do the experts think? will be traveling with my mom and a toddler

 

and if you think we should book any suggestions on reliable companys??

Stick with the taxicab. Port Everglades processes thousands of cruisers every weekend. They have it down to a science. You have no reason to worry, you'll have no problem getting to the airport from Port Everglades on time. Relax and enjoy your cruise. ;)
