Lefty Bob Posted February 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Just ask for the bar manager. He (or she) will make all the arrangements. No charge and it will be wonderful. Lefty Bob
Martita B. Posted February 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2007 lorneross, Another suggestion is to have a visit with the Hotel Manager as he'll know the evenings that will be most convenient for your cocktail hour. (March 20th & the 29th will be formal evenings) I have been invited to parties in the Owner's Suites and I think the number of guests should be no more than 8, just so all your guests will be comfortable being seated. Private parties are always fun on the Crossings~~~a great way to meet and know fellow shipmates! Martita B.
lorneross Posted February 18, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted February 18, 2007 martita do you think dinner for 8 in the owners suite is to many? you thought 8 for cocktails was o.k. from lorneross see you at sail away.
Martita B. Posted February 18, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2007 lorneross, I think cocktails and canapes would be more convenient opposed to serving dinner. The suite wouldn't have the room for a seated dinner. You might just host cocktails, then your guests can dine in the restaurant afterwards. Martita B. lorneross Posted February 18, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted February 18, 2007 how about dinner for my mom and I only in the owner's suite? or is there no room for dinner at all thanks from lorneross
Martita B. Posted February 18, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 18, 2007 "En-suite" dining is very popular and elegant on the Seabourn ships. Dinner is served course by course, complete with fine wines. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in your suite! I particularly enjoy having my breakfast en-suite~~~~ Enjoy!:p Martita B.

CruisinMatt Posted February 19, 2007 #9 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Lorneross - speak to the Maitre'd regarding your desire to have a private dinner for 8. It may not be possible in your suite, but they may be able to accomodate your request in another area of the ship. I have seen it happen before.
