Shore Excursions

We were on Progreso last week. We were afraid it would turn out to be like Belize, but it didn't. Got off and looked around the pier area, not alot just a few little shops. Took a bus whcch was free into the flea market. They offered 3 different excursions at the flew market. One was to a exclusive resort for $25 we did this one whichwas fun, another was to the ruins for $30 and out tablemates did this and said it was super and can't remember the third one. I recommend doing this instead of the ship excursions.

When you referred to Belize, was that a negative remark? I'm cusious because we go there in January.
