Hey Hubwriter,

I have not heard from you in awhile!! Now we are at 2 days to go!!

I am not sure which store I won for, it is probably one of two Cary

HTs. I don't even know what number the one is. If it is the one

I have been shopping at since it opened in Dec of 1997, 200.

What about you?

We decided to not do the snorkel for a funny reason. When we did our

Windjammer with snorkeling almost 17 years ago, I wore contacts. I

don't know if I could even see past my face mask without my glasses.

Did you decide on Port Canaveral?

OH:cool::cool:

Turns out I was totally confused about what port we're leaving from -- rookie mistake. We're of course leaving out of Port Everglades, which looks like just a couple miles from the Ft. Lauterdale airport. Port Canaveral, as you point out, is quite a haul from Ft. Lauterdale.

Too bad about the snorkeling, but I guess that makes sense. What excursion are you going to do in its place?

We just started going through clothes last night, seeing what fits, what's in/out of style (as if we know). Because of the ironing situation, we sent off some things to the dry cleaner to get pressed (a couple shirts for me, some pants/shorts for my wife). We don't want to be too crazy about it, but we don't want to be wrinkled the whole time, either.

We're working down a massive to-do list this week -- you know how it is before you go on a trip, esp. when you have kids. But we're so jazzed about this thing -- hoping not to build it up too much in our minds. Wow, in less than 48 hours, we'll be on the ship!

Just think... in 48 hours we will be have our little party and leaving

FLL behind, it is 505p right now!!

I have a few to-do lists also. We have a cat and dog also so I have

to get food measured out, leave instructions of how much dry to how

much wet. My dog is so spoiled!! He is going to love the canned dog

food though.

Instead of snorkeling we are going to copycat and look at renting

some bikes or meandering, maybe even hand in hand. It is surprising

how much you give to your kids and not focus on yourself as a couple.

Everyone at school is telling me how much I deserve this trip, my 2 boys

are a handful!!

Cute!! Whats in style and out. I should go find the neighborhood high

school and college girls, they always know!!

Build it up!! This is such a great opportunity for us. I think Harris Teeter

has seen me a lot more than usual. All the people that I know that work

at the store are excited for me. We deserve it. It will be great!!

tick tock, tick tock......:D:D:D:D:D

That guy's write-up on the Mariner charter is pretty cool.

Hey, OH, if you want to, email me your name so my wife and I can be on the lookout for you and your husband on the ship. After all, I think we are all supposed to wear nametags on the ship after 6pm each night. Email: skridgley2@aol.com.

If not, have a great trip!

Name tags?? Yes, just like they do at the elementary school

when there is a sub. I actually really like the idea myself.

I am soooo forgetful of names. I meet someone and it goes

right out the other ear! As my husband says.... "you only

remember the things I don't want you to".

Lovescoach write up was nice. I think his company chartered

the boat. Very nice. See? I told you that it will be GREAT!!:)
