Atty Posted February 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Ok....so everyone talks about the room service and getting breakfast in your room etc. The romance packages sold by RCCL include "breakfast in bed" one day. My question is, if the room service is already free and you can order it anytime, whats the extra benefit, if any, of the romance package breakfast in bed? suznf Posted February 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2007 The menu was different for the breakfast in bed. I think I had eggs benedict and it included a mimosa. DH had an omlete I think. (However, you can write in whatever you want on the room service/breakfast menu and they will bring it!)

jdkey Posted February 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2007 When we had it (a few years ago) our dining room waiter took our order the night before we wanted it & the eggs benedict was an option. That may be different now(the waiter part) I think the silver frame was nice and the strawberries but not sure if it's really worth the price. jphc318 Posted February 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2007 THE REGULAR ROMANCE PACKAGE FOR 98.95 INCLUDES A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE AND PALTE OF CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES FOR BON VOYAGE,PRE DINNER CANAPES ON FIRST FORMAL NIGHT AND AFTER DINNER PETIE FORS THE SAME NIGHT, BREAKFAST IN BED AND A SILVER FRAME FOR THE PICTURE(8x10) The frame alone costs around 40.00 bucks and the Champagne is btween 30.00- 40.00. I thinks its worth it and the breakfast in bed is nice becaus ethey bring you two hot meals that you order the night before tons of pastries and a nice cheese platter that my wife enjoys very much.We order one every time we go on a cruise and we always stay in a balcony so its nice to sit there onthe balcony enjoy our breakfast as the sun rises and the ocean passes us by. That is our opinion but we feel the romab=nce package is worth it to us!
jphc318 Posted February 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2007 ONE WORD OF WARNING! On the romance breakfast in bed if you order the scrambled eggs in bed they put caviar on top of the eggs! If you like caviar fine but if you dont like my wife its a little gross! be sure to ask for it on the side or omit it entirely! sorry just a heads up ! Frazzle Posted February 19, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 19, 2007 A very good question - and I wondered as well as my wedding package includes breakfast in bed! Either way, we'll love it.
Atty Posted February 19, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted February 19, 2007 I've gotten the package before I was just wondering why they put the breakfast in bed as part of the selling point since you can get that anyway.
vjmatty Posted March 21, 2007 #9 Share Posted March 21, 2007 I was looking at the $98 package and it seems the only things on it that aren't already free are the champagne and picture frame, correct?
