Acapulco- Trolley Car's

Hi

Does anyone know if Acapulco still has a Trolley Car that you pay a one time fee for the day. Hop on hop off. We are comming in by cruise ship.

There's a tour-type vehicle that's designed to look as if it were a trolly car, but I don't have information about it's operation/cost, etc. The city busses are an experience - and you might want to hop on and off one of them as they move up and down the coastal street - Costera Miguel Aleman. Cost is 4 or 5 pesos now - equivalent to US$0.40-50 cents. Some of the busses are air-conditioned. I just called them and they gave the folowing information;

 

At 5:30 pm they go to the Diamante Zone, across the scenic road and towards the Princess and Mayana Palace hotels.Time 1.20 hours

 

At 07:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 pm they go to la Quebrada (cliff divers) and the traditional part of Acapulco. Time 1 hour 20 minutes

 

Cost $50 Pesos per person

MX$50 is less than US$5. It'll probably be the best "deal" you find, for anything - in Acapulco.
