St. Pattys day in PR

This may be a stupid question but I figured since on St. Patrick's day everyone is Irish I'd give it a shot. We are scheduled to spend 1 night before our cruise in San Juan and were wondering if they celebrate St. Patrick's day. If so what is there to do? If not I guess we'll have to find our own way to celebrate. Thanks in advance.

Actually Its Shannan's Irish pub 787-287-8466. Martinez Nadal Expressway Guaynabo(New location bigger and better even more popular its that possible).Veryyyyyyy popular so get there early.:p

any idea how far that is from san juan. We are staying at the Radisson

It all in the metropolitan area, at night you can be here( I live In guaynabo) from Condado in 20, 30 minutes more or less.

To answer your question, St. Patrick's Day is not really celebrated like it is in the states. It is pretty much a non-event. Shannon's pub is a great idea. It will cost you 20 to 30 bucks each way to take a taxi.
