bbcruiser Posted June 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2004 We are cruising in August on the Spirit with our 20 month old. Anyone know what type of cribs are on the Spirit? Also, read that some people brought their own sheets, so knowing the type of crib would help. Thanks
serene56 Posted June 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2004 Did you tell your agent you want a crib? One will be available if its requested. I am pretty sure they use the pack and plays. Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year. bbcruiser Posted June 19, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted June 19, 2004 My TA already requested a crib. They didn't know what kind it was. I'm hoping they are pack and plays. Just wondering so we can decide whether to bring our own. Thanks for your reply. If you hear otherwise, could you let me know?
serene56 Posted June 19, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2004 Have you posted the question on the NCL board? Im sure you can find your answer there moreso then on this board. kfleming Posted June 25, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2004 I just requested one yesterday and were told they were port-a-cribs, not pack-n-plays. I was told port-a-cribs are like regular cribs only smaller and they have wheels. Also I asked specifically about the Spirit b/c we are going in October. If you hear any differently, please let me know. I will have to accustom my daughter to sleeping in a pnp.
serene56 Posted June 25, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 25, 2004 I have found when calling customer service of any cruise lines to ask one question if you call three times you will get three different answers to the same question.
bbcruiser Posted June 25, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted June 25, 2004 I had my TA check with NCL, and she said the Spirit has port-a-cribs that are 3ft. by 3ft. They have wooden bars. I am not sure if they fold up. I will ask my TA to check on that. If they don't fold up, I think a pack n' play would be better, if you have a balcony room. I'll check back soon.
