Carnival only cruiseline sailing MR in Summer - why?

I just booked 7 day cruise in mid July sailing the Mexican Riviera, just curious why Carnival is the only cruiseline that sails this region during this time of year. Is this a bad time to go? Yes, I'm expecting hot and humid days with chance of rain, just like I always experience in the Caribbean. Any idea's?

Aren't you sailing with us in December? I sure thought so.

If we don't run into each other on board, I'm guessing you will go to Stone Island again since you seem to love it there.

We will look for you on the Island

Scruffers:D Maybe with Morriscats

I certainly am! I just won't sail in the SUMMER unless I get a good deal. It is just too darn hot for me. BUT - the biggest relief to the heat on our first visit (which was during the summer) was sitting on the beach in front of Victor's. The breeze on Stone Island is wonderful. So - yes, I will be on the Pride for Christmas - I hope Morriscats can convince the ohana! I just would have a hard time doing it in the summer again. :) But - I never say never!
