Fishing in Grand Cayman???

Yes, it is legal for tourists to fish from shore. No fishing license is needed. There are restrictions on which species can be kept, but if you just want to catch and release, it is legal.

That said, property owners may ask that you not fish from their private docks. Fishing in the local Cayman style is most often done with a hand line and not rod and reel.
