Lynne59 Posted February 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2007 We are going to be in a Jr. Suite on the Mariner in a few weeks and would like to know what advantages of this suite compared to a blacony stateroom. I know the sq footage is more, but what else? Do we have concierge service? What does that mean? Also can we bring bottled water and cold drinks (Coke, Pepsi, etc.) on board? Do you bring it in your carry on luggage? Thanks for all your help!
ruttie Posted February 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2007 there are not any advantages on board for jr suites over regular rooms except space.....
rsscaptain Posted February 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2007 there are not any advantages on board for jr suites over regular rooms except space..... Well not really...JR's get two cruise credits instead of one per seven day cruise. You do get a tub, instead of just a shower. And as was menitoned by ruthie, you do get more room on the balcony, the room, and the much larger closet space. Some report priority boarding and other's report more, but it's debatable... If you can afford JS, it's a nice advantage.
la_croisiere_s'amuse Posted February 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2007 We are big fans of JS and the Mariner! :) Mariner JS have a nice walk-in closet with tons of shelf space (more than we have ever needed) and a nice armchair with ottoman as well as the sofa. The balcony is substantially larger, as is the bathroom. There's a good shot of the living area in my Mariner album here: http://new.photos.yahoo.com/la.croisiere/album/576460762324941957 Enjoy your cruise!! :)
