Private Driver for 2 Adults

We will be in St. Kitts on the Carnival Legend the week of March 18th. I would like to know if there is some quality private drivers, with reliable vehicles for hire. My husband and I would just like to go by ourselves and do our own sightseeing tour. Could you give me an idea of price? Thanks for any information.

We are booked with Thenford for a private tour that day, but I think he has other drivers too. York was mentioned recently.

 

As for prices, I think that might depend on exactly what/where you want to do/go and the length of time involved. They should quote you a price when they reply to your email re their availability that day. (I think something in the neighborhood of $150 - $175 for a full day for private tour for two people. If you join a group tour they already have going, around $30pp)

I have used the services of Thenford Grey and was very satisfied. He was friendly, punctual and very knowledgeable. His van was new, airconditioned and comfortable.

 

Half island tour $60 US

Full island (Excluding Southeast peninsula) $80 US

2 1/2 hour tour of SE peninsula $52 US

Basseterre to Turtle Beach $26 US

City Tour $30 US

We returned from St. Kitts Marriott Feb. 12th and had Cappy Taxi take us on a full island tour and then on to the airport for the ride back home. He was fantastic. We highly recommend him for tours or even short taxi runs.
