Disembarkation Transfer Arrangements

I have heard two differing stories about the assistance that Oceania offers to people who have made independent air arrangements. One
person told me that, on his trip, the purser or the concierge put together groups of people who had made their own airline arrangements and helped them arrange for private limo service from Dover to Gatwick. Other people told me that the only arrangements that Oceania made for passengers who made their own airline arangements was to sell them Oceania transfers and put them on Oceania contracted transportation vehicles.

Can someone set me straight on what independent travellers can expectfrom Oceania?

By the way, I am still looking for another couple to share transportation costs from Dover to Gatwick on July 27 (off the Regatta).

I am not sure what arrangements they help you with,,, it's just as easy to arrange on your own and make sure you have the transfer ahead of time.
