Well here is the long awaited review. I will try to answer any questions that I have seen from all cruise revies I have read. The embarkation was a breeze. No delay, arrived at 12:15. They told us lunch is waoting on the 9th floor as our room was not quite ready. We had a cat 7 balcony-ner the rar of ship (4225). No more rocking than any other ship, room was very nice, beds were very comfortable. It seemed our iteinerary had us ay sea a lot, but that was ok. My Mrs. ws not thrilled by the food, and it did seem a little cool when served. The buffet had the same food as the dining room. Found the staff to be very friendly and accomidating, and would like to especially point out Nickoli of the Cigar Bar, who made an art form out of preparing a cigar to be smoked. The slide was a lot of fun althogh only opened limited times of day, Actually came out a little ahead on slots plying a machine with no sound. I am not really a show person, but found the shows entertaining. the pools were nice and mostly uncrowded. We "mustered" outside, and this was the best of the 3 cruises I was on. No hot theater waiting for the drill . quick and simple. The excursions were good, except for the short time in P.R., did not get to see much. Disembarking was also very fast, smooth and well orginized.

I stayed ib=n Ft. Lauderdale till tuesday.

Hi Lee-Not all that many europeans-there was a large Greek club, but from U.S.-lots of people from Ohio-very few children. Older crowd-(I am almost 50)

But the had lots of spunk. Lanquage wasn't much of a problem, although it pays to talk a little slower. several times I had to have my meal time adjusted, and it was never a problem. Had only cruised Carnival and Princess.

My wife was not thrilled with the food, but she loved the ship and had a great time.

Hi Marc,

Thank you for the review. We are neighbors, living in Long Island. Can you tell me what the average outdoor temperature was during the day, and in the evenings? Also how was the indoor temp. in various parts of the ship?

If health permits,:) we will be sailing on the Med. on March 18th.

Lill:cool:

Hi Marc, I would like to ask a question as well if I may?

You mentioned the beds were very comfortable. This was our only complaint with our last Mediterannea cruise, so we are assuming they now have new mattresses?

Eureka!:D

1st for Lill, Florida and the bahama's were a little on the cool side. ft lauderdale was in the 60's for high. Nassau was upper 70's. st. thomas low 80's-Dom Rep upper 80's-I found the room a little warm at times, but I like it cool when I sleep.-rest of ship emp very comfrtble-

Now Sharon-I had read that the Ship had a major refurbish in Nassau b4 thr carrib season this year.

and Lill-I hope your health will be well.
