Rain Forest Aerial Tram Ride, how far?

Does anyone know how far you have to go to the rain forest aerial tram from the cruise port (driving time/mileage)?

 

Has anyone done this excursion?

 

We do not want to go on an organized tour, we just would like to catch a taxi and go to the rainforest and ride the tram. Does anyone know what the fee is to ride the tram?

 

Any information would be appreciated!

Hmm.... I don't recall reading anything about an aerial tram in St. Kitts, but there is one in St. Lucia.
