FLL, Sheraton Yankee Clipper Hotel

This hotel is an icon of Fort Lauderdale Beach. The main original building is right on the beach and is actually shaped like a ship! It has been renovated and would be fine. You can walk the Fort Lauderdale Beach easily (i.e. all the eateries and souvenir, junk shops, etc. and it is about 5 minutes if that long from the port. It is fine.

My dad lives in Ft. Lauderdale and the Yankee Clipper is the one of the only ones directly on the beach, without having to cross A1A. It is newly renovated and it has a great patio and bar right on the beach. You will really enjoy your stay there.

I have been there almost every year for the last 15 years!!
