Hawaii on the Diamond Princess

Am about to book a January cruise from LA to the Hawaiian Islands on Diamond Princess. There will be 3 of us in a balcony cabin. Did this on RC Voyager and it worked out just fine. Chose an aft cabin after discovering Cruise Critic, and loved the extra balcony space. Thank you very much! My TA is indicating that aft cabins on the Diamond do not accommodate more than 2 people. Does anyone have experience with this? I'd love to hear from veterans of this cruise and would appreciate your comments and advice. Thanks.

We'll be on the Diamond in April '08 for the Hawaii RT, and we've booked E732. Yes, a very nice balcony, but I agree, it looks like a standard cabin otherwise, and isn't listed as a 'will accommodate third person' stateroom. If you really want aft facing you may have to consider a suite. Or look at E728/731, they are port/starboard but they will take 3 persons and they do have an extended balcony, although not quite as deep as the aft facing.
