TakemeOnACruise Posted March 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2007 This is the first time I am taking a taxi cab to the Port from the airport instead of using the CCL transfer, My question to you, is how do I go about getting my luggage to my room (* NOTE, I do not now which room we are in)? Do I give it to a porter or something and will they even be there that early? Thanks!
Lakeman953 Posted March 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2007 When you get to the port just let the porter know your name and they will look you up and make sure that the luggage goes to the proper cabin.

Cotton Posted March 1, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2007 The cab driver should drop you off right at the terminal doors. There will be a guy holding a manifest who can give you whatever info you need, along with the proper tags to put on your luggage. The normal tip to the porter who takes your bags is $1 per piece of luggage. He's the guy who will put your luggage in a bin to be put onto the ship.:)
TakemeOnACruise Posted March 3, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted March 3, 2007 My flight gets in at 10:45 figure we'll be at the pier by 11:15 is this too early? Will we be able to board the ship is there usually a line at that time? Sorry for all the ?'s just we never took a cab from the airport to the pier always used carnival transfers and always had a later flight in. Thanks for all your help! Lakeman953 Posted March 3, 2007 #7 Share Posted March 3, 2007 You will be fine going at that time, You may have a line but it should move fairly quick. It might take you 45 mins or so. Next question? Ask what you you need to know.
