mpw2002 Posted July 31, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2004 Here's a link to Canada Customs which should answer your question on duty-free limits. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cp/rc4161/rc4161-e.html#P148_6182 Here's the BC Liquor store site. The staff at the specialty store on Thurlow are excellent. They'll help you find something to suit your tastes and budget. To find the location of other Vancouver stores, select Lower Mainland as the region in the search area. There is lots of good info on this site. Cheers! http://www.bcliquorstores.com/en/mattersoftaste/spotlightonbc
BCHappyGal Posted July 31, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2004 A US citizen can bring liquor into Canada for personal consumtion - don't overdo it and you shouldn't have any problems. You cannot bring it into Canada to leave in Canada or as a gift to a Canadian.
