Guarantee balcony on Zuiderdam?

We are going on the Zuiderdam in October and all of the midship balcony rooms are taken. Has anyone gone "guarantee" and which room did they end up with? Any advice?

As long as no one else is answering you I'll offer that we booked VE guarantees on the Westerdam and Noordam and got VAs near the front of deck 8 and the stern of deck 7. What class of cabin are you considering to guarantee?

We are going October 20th with you, CISKA40! We have a VD guarantee balcony, we got an excellent rate about 3 months ago. But we are considering changing it to a specific cabin. Any suggestions?

I would stick with the VD, and be perfectly happy if I didn't get a comp upgrade.
