Paulmj Posted July 31, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2004 See: http://www.pbase.com/paulmj/panoramas_from_hawaii These are panoramic pictures taken on a number of Hawaiian cruises that we enjoyed. Also see: http://pmj.smugmug.com/gallery/101935 These are a bunch of pictures of restaurants and specialty food dishes we experienced at some of the upscale restaurants on Maui. Michelle! Posted July 31, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2004 I wans't expecting much from your food pics, but Oh My Goodness - I am salivating! Beautiful presentation with everything!
spleen93 Posted August 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Thanks Paul for reposting those! :) I like the new panoramics! Did you stitch those together yourself? Spleen
Paulmj Posted August 1, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Images were stitched using Panorama Factory. I've used this software for a number of years, and although there are other packages out there, I find it very easy to use and the results (should) speak for themselves. If anyone has an interest in seeing some panoramas that I shot in the Mediterranean last summer while on a golden Princess cruise, see: http://www.pbase.com/paulmj/european_panoramas
spleen93 Posted August 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Drooooool ... very nice! Hope to see some of these ourselves next year (hoping to do Med in October 2005). Spleen
Paulmj Posted August 1, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted August 1, 2004 It's not Hawaii, but then again nothing is! :-) We're going to Alaska next week and I hope to get a good bunch of panoramas that I can post up.
spleen93 Posted August 1, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Glaciers lend themselves very nicely to panoramics. :) Spleen
mountainhouse Posted August 1, 2004 #8 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Very nice work, Paul, both artisticly and technically. Really enjoyed going through them.
spleen93 Posted August 2, 2004 #9 Share Posted August 2, 2004 Paul - I posted the link to your Mediterranean panoramas on another board and a friend there noted that in your picture in Monaco, you have the Golden Princess in the background and the Seven Seas Voyager in the foreground. She was wondering when you took your photo? Spleen
Paulmj Posted August 2, 2004 Author #10 Share Posted August 2, 2004 I took this picture last summer, almost exactly a year ago. The air was very smoky in Monaco due to the wildfires that were taking place then in southern France.

spleen93 Posted August 3, 2004 #14 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Not to reply to myself or anything, I have another question from the other board - were the panoramic photos taken with your Canon digital? Spleen
