Ryndam delayed sailing

as a few noticed yesterday, the Ryndam was 3 hours late leaving here last night. This morning's paper reports that for the second consecutive trip and the fourth since May a stomach flu soured the vacations of 167 of 1260 passengers on the Ryndam. CDC staff boarded the ship in Cabo San Lucas on Thursday and sailed to San Diego. On the previous cruise 110 or the 1153 passengers reported sick with bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. The crew were reported to have stepped up cleaning and disinfection procedures while notifying passengers, and telling them not to shake hands. The ship brought on board a land-based cleaning crew while she was in port here yesterday.:)
