etrainer1 Posted August 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2004 can anyone tell me about the menu in the dining room on the oosterdam?
1drifter Posted August 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Look for a thread called Cruising Alaska on the Oosterdam - Pictoral Review by Queen of Adventure. The review is in 9 parts I think, so you have to click on the bottom of each section to continue. She has pictures of what she & her tablemates ate everyday on the Oosterdam. We enjoyed all the food--we were on the same cruise with the Queen. Do you have any specific questions? Shari

Thoth Posted August 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2004 I just returned from the O-dam. The food in the formal dining room was pretty much typical cruise selections. I ate peppered serloin, crab claws, seafood gumbo over rice, plain steak, halibut, filet minon, and of course lobster. The soups, salads, and appitizers were wonderful. There are some great deserts (baked Alaska) but maybe not as much as on some other HAL ships in the past. The Lido was just great, plenty of food with very little waiting.
