LGA to port--length of trip

It could take anywhere from 35-40 minutes shortest to longer. depends on the route besides time of day the Brookln -queens expressway -one way is a can be a mess during 8am to 6pm the it is a big trucker route.

with no traffic its less than 30 minutes, its 11 miles. The BQE which is the major truck route through Brooklyn is crowded on week days. On the weekend its not as bad but can back up as well. With moderate traffic it will take 35 minutes or so. With Heavy traffic it will take about an hour. Unfortunately there really isn't any alternative, there is not even a good way on the streets(although in an emergency you can go through Manhattan)...
