Help please re bio bay tour in Fajardo

We really want to do this tour. We're having trouble though finding a place that:

1. Will get us back to our ship (Crown Princess) BEFORE our 11 pm sailing

2. Will allow us to go in the water to swim and not just kayak

Princess offers this trip and we were going to go with them but then I read it's strictly kayak and no swimming.

Can ANYONE help me? I've seen lots of places that provide the tours so don't need that. What I want to know is, "Has anyone that has been on the Crown and had their ship leave at 11 pm been able to go on a bio bay excursion that allowed you to go swimming too? If so, who did you use?"

Thanks everyone. This one's really driving me nuts because I can't figure out the answer. I know there has to be.

I dont have the exact answer to your questions however for what its worth....

This is one tour which I wouldn't consider booking directly with a local company. The trip from old San Juan is about 90 mins there due to traffic and about 60 mins back. I normally dont book ship tours but this one just cuts it too close for my comfort.

I was on a Carnival ship in Nov and just made it back at 1145 for a midnight sailing. I wasnt worried because we were on the ship tour but if I hadnt, I would have been sweating the whole time, worried about being stranded.

As it were, we kayaked in and were allowed to go swimming for about 5 to 10 mins. I wouldnt be surprised if they allow you to take a dip. I dont know the name of the company Carnival used, but since they own Princess, it may be the same outfit

good luck and go no matter what
