Newbie W/fare Questions

Hello Silver Seas Folks,

We have never sailed on SS but are considering the last leg of W/C 08. They are quoting prices now for that departure of almost 13K Per person. I know it's early and prices will probably come down, but by how much and when, that is the question. This is important for me now as I tend to book as early as possible for our trips. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

We are leaving this week on the Dubai - Dubai cruise. We booked early and continued to watch the pricing on the web site. Pricing dropped and we were refunded the difference since technically we could have cancelled and rebooked.

I'm not sure I would count on the fares coming down. I booked nearly a year in advance and watched carefully for new discounts. It never happened. Which made me feel better for booking early (my comfort zone) and being able to choose my cabin.

Thanks for the help. My agent basically said the same thing and I think that makes them a little too much on the per diem. I'll syick w/Regent or Seabourn.
