Vmalcolm Posted March 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2007 I know this is is British Columbia, but since it's part of our Alaskan cruise thought I'd ask here. Does anyone know if you can get off the ship and book your own excursions through private vendors right at the dock, or would it be better to book them beforehand? Seems like everywhere else in Alaska we've been there were plenty of opportunities to book tours on shore. Also, for anyone who's been, what do you recommend? We're already doing a whale watching trip in Juneau and we can't afford to go to see the Grizzly Bear sanctuary (would love to though!). We will be in Prince Rupert all day on the Vision of the Seas EARLY in the season. Thanks, Valerie
