Just found out that NCL is selling to Crown & Majesty,does anybody know where thay are off to ?...another cruise line or the junk yard ?

Note: Just as this guide went to press, NCL announced that its parent company, Star Cruises, had agreed to sell Norwegian Crown to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Pte. Ltd., Singapore. She'll leave the NCL fleet in November 2007.

After this summer's Bermuda season, the Crown has been sold to Fred Olsen lines. While the Majesty has not been sold as yet to another line, there were rumours that Louis Lines were interested in her.

 

The Dream, Wind, Majesty and Crown will be either sold to another line or transfered to Star Cruises, NCL's parent firm. The Sea has already been transfered, the Wind will be transfered within the next two months to Star Cruises.

 

The Sea became the SuperStar Libra, she is sailing out of Mumbai, India. The Wind will become the SuperStar Aquarius sailling out of Hong Kong this summer.

 

Until NCL posts its 2008 summer itineraries, with the Crown gone and the Wind gone, it maybe likely the Majesty may stick around and be repositioned to New York to do next summer's Crown's Bermuda itineraries. Rumors suggest that the Dawn will be repostioned to Boston next summer.

 

The last of the Dream's posted itineraries leave her in Los Angeles, a sign she maybe transfered to Star Cruises during the summer of 2008. Of course, she could be headed for a Alaskan season. We will know by the end of May.
