Private Departure Lounge

Has anyone experienced the Private Departure Lounge service/convenience of being Platinum or higher in Crown and Anchor Society? I'll be leaving from Tampa next month, and I'm curious as to how it works. When you arrive at the port terminal, are you sent to a different lobby/lounge to wait and be called to board?
