Parking charges at NYC Pier

Hi,

We'll be on the Dawn on June 9. What are the parking charges at the pier? Is it ever fully booked? If you have a recommendation for a van or car (for 6 people) in the NYC area that would also be appreciated. We live in Queens so it isn't a long trip but our daughter, husband and two toddlers are flying in to join us.

It has never been reported full. Its $24.00 a day for a maximum of $180.00 per month if the cruise is longer than 7 days
