mrcruzer Posted March 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Does anyone have any photos of St Kitts beaches they could share with me? I am trying to convince my travelling group a cruise is the way to go-gotta show them the beaches! Please put the name of the beach with the photos, if possible. thanks, MC. logbook Posted June 3, 2007 #8 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Sounds like there are several beautiful beaches to visit for the day.
Liz Pereira Posted June 3, 2007 #9 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Sounds like there are several beautiful beaches to visit for the day. That's correct. The most popular are South Frigate Bay, South Friars, Cocklesehell/Banana Bay and Turtle Beach.
RogerandChris Posted June 14, 2007 #10 Share Posted June 14, 2007 I'd love a site or help on choosing a beach. Which are crowded and which aren't when ships are in port? Privacy, topless, persistent vendors, food, bathrooms? I've looked but I've just not looked enough I guess.
Liz Pereira Posted June 14, 2007 #11 Share Posted June 14, 2007 I'd love a site or help on choosing a beach. Which are crowded and which aren't when ships are in port? Privacy, topless, persistent vendors, food, bathrooms? I've looked but I've just not looked enough I guess. The following beaches are the most popular and tend to be busy when cruise ships are in port: South Frigate Bay Turtle Beach For a quiet beach visit Cockleshell/Banana Bay home of Lion's Beach Bar or South Friars where you will find a few beach bars (Godfather's and Shipwreck). There are no topless beaches in St. Kitts or Nevis. (It's illegal) The beach at The Marriott (North Frigate Bay), South Frigate Bay and Turtle Beach tends to get a few vendors. If you are polite to them they will leave you alone. You can find bathroom facilities at Turtle Beach Bar & Grill http://www.turtlebeach1.com and Mr. X's Shiggidy Shack http://www.mrxshiggidyshack.com Hope this helps. LALAFRANCE Posted September 22, 2007 #14 Share Posted September 22, 2007 HI LIZ, thank you so much for all your wonderful information. We have decided on Cockleshell Beach, what would you say the best transportation would be for a group of 10? I was looking at the taxi fares but I am not sure where they are compared to where the ship docks. Thanks for your help, Patti
