cowen Posted March 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2007 We're cruising on Carnival Victory the week of Memorial Day and would like to snorkel in Freeport? Has anyone done an excursion they would recommend. There will be 6 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 11-17.
mikebarnett Posted March 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2007 We did the ships, Sail and Snorkle excursion in Freeport. Off the ship, they put you on a bus for a twenty minute ride to you get over to the straw market area at Lucaya beach. There were thirty people on a 48 foot catamaran sail boat, that took us out to the reefs where we snorkled for an hour. It was the first time snorkling for me and it took a little getting used to. The sail boat used a motor on the way out and sails on the way back in. Very relaxing to layout on the front of the sailboat and catch some rays. scubabetty Posted March 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2007 There is a place that you can snorkle with the Dolphins. Just look Freeport diving/snorkling up on the internet and you sould find it. There was only one outfit who did this we I was there last year. BUT they only go out on certain days so you have to check it out before hand to see if you are going to be in port the day that they do snorkel
