bldsld Posted March 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Our wonderful Captain Geir-Arne Thue-Nilsen has posted some new photos on his website while he is currently on vacation. The new photos are a memorial from the services held on board the November Legend crossing for crew member, Nelson Emperio. It is a beautiful remembrance. For those of us who were privileged to be on that sailing, it is a moment in time that we will never forget. Seabourn-nail Posted March 14, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Thank you Denyse for informing us about the pictures and the trust fund. And just like you Kathryn, again I´m moved a lot. One picture is very similar to one I took of the sad event. Maybe you have heard about the very sad happenings in Holland where whole families decide to step out of this world, dragging their children with them. I hope Nelson´s son will have a good future. norm2002 Posted March 14, 2007 #7 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Thanks for the link, Denyse. I've avoided looking at my photos of the events since I got home. I see the Captain has used three of the photos I gave him which he passed on to the family. He also sent the photo of the M/V Lady LD to the ship's captain as a thankyou. I'm glad he's got the trust fund going. He's a wonderful Captain - no doubt a treasure!
