blmcdps Posted March 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2007 I can't believe it, we leave a week from Saturday and last night our cruise price went down again. It is our second price drop. I never thought the price would drop again. Has anyone ever had a price drop even closer to your cruise?
3dogmom Posted March 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2007 I've been checking daily and finally, a $70 price drop! We don't sail for 5 weeks, but I'm so excited to finally get a price drop!
tiffstulips Posted March 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Where do I look to check on the price-drops? What if I booked through a private travel agent?
gator582 Posted March 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2007 When checking pricing (drops) do you just go to the site and "pretend" you want to book to see what the price is now?
CruiseBumm Posted March 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Price drops are not always available for existing bookings. they are often for new bookings. Of course if you are mre than 60 days out than you could always rebook the cruise. I wish I could get a price drop to Free. :D

Yes, also check Promowave site. It is a seperate site from Royal Caribbean.
frankb1 Posted March 16, 2007 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Go to the RCCL web site daily - start a reservation and when you see a price drop for your category room call RCCL and ask for the new price. If you are a member of crown & anchor deal with them. In the past we have saved as much as $500 from the initial booking rate. Good Luck and enjoy your cruise. frankb1
