vesw01 Posted March 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2007 I had read that President Bush was going to change the rule and not require children to have a passport. The reason I ask is this...we are foster parents and are possibly going to take 3 foster children with us on a cruise in Sept (they are booked) but we won't know for sure if they are allowed to go until much later from now and for them to get a passport takes orders from the judge, approval from the state etc etc etc. Besides it would save us the extra cost of getting them one and we could use that for the trip. Our own kids have them and we will get them in the event that we would need to fly home in an emergency, but if the US will let the kids in without one, then I might pass. Has anyone heard anything new on this?
