Too cold for balcony ??

Also posted this on Princess board but thought I might get some feedback here.

My wife and I are going on the Crown to New England / Canada this October and we have a Mini-suite selected. Will it be too cold outside for us to enjoy our balcony ? What about the "Balcony Dinner" , I'm thinking that if its too cold it will take away from this special evening. Has anyone been there and done that?

We had an aft balcony in September, and it was warm enough to sit out for a few hours at midday, but we probably would not have chosen to eat outside in the evening.
