I'll post a review within a day or two, but just wanted to let you know I can answer questions regarding the Sensation. We were sailing 3/11 - 3/15 and stopped in Freeport and Nassau. Took the Jeep Excursion in Freeport.

Britt23,

How was the Jeep excursion? I will be sailing on her in 2 weeks. I'm so excited. We signed up for the Jeep excursion too.

Can you still use coins in the slot machines in the casino? I know I already asked someone that question, however I forgot to write the answer down. LOL Thanks

1) Did you go to any night clubs during the over night in Nassau?

2) What floor did you stay on? We are on the Empress and wanted to know if it was noisy.

3) How was Freeport? It looks boring, but maybe I am judging it before I see it!LOL!

4) How is the mini golf thing on top?

I want to know about the jeep excursion as well. My hubby was going to do this in Grand Caymen on our next cruise, but he is putting it off cause there were other things in Caymen he wanted to do.

So now his next chance will be in Freeport. He is a jeep fanatic. He works at a jeep dealership. How did you enjoy it?

1) We didn't go to any clubs in Nassau, but the ship was quite empty during the night we were there so I'm guessing most of the younger kids stayed on the island and went to clubs. I overheard a lady cruiser and a guy crew member talking about Senor Frogs and saying they had a great time. The nightclub on the ship "Kaleidoscope" (18 and over) was always rocking.

2) We were on the Upper floor and it was very, very quiet. If the Empress is in between cabin floors, it should be fine.

3) Freeport was mainly shopping so I would certainly recommend an excursion.

4) I never made it to the mini putt, but my daughter and her boyfriend said it was cute and good for the kids.

We all enjoyed the jeep excursion, especially my daughter and her boyfriend (who owns a couple of Jeeps). They are standard shift, the steering wheel is on the left side (as in the US), but you drive on the left side of the road. You go through both regular town streets and through the woods of Freeport. Most of it was on regular roads, so there wasn't much four wheeling of any kind. We stopped at a cave which was interesting and a few other quick stops. The one I liked the best, was a really really nice resort that had a beautiful beach and a fantastic (but cold) pool. And the pool bar, well...... it was beyond cool. It was like in a rock cave over a bar that on one side you could swim up to and the other you walk down into it. It was out of the wind and was very quiet but expensive. Saw more pine trees that I could ever imagine. You get to see quite alot of Freeport. I think we put around 50 - 60 miles on the jeep. The trip was very, very windy but it was warm out so it felt good. Unfortunately, when we got to the beach, it was such a windy day that we didn't enjoy the water and just needed to get out of the wind so we found the swim up bar!

Yes, you can still use coins in the machines. In fact, I believe there were ALL coins which was strange because I live near Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun and they have gone to almost 100% tickets.
