departing norfolk va

Has any one departed from norfolk va ? How was it? Do you know of any good hotels to stay at there? Where did you park while on the cruise? Thanks

Norfolk is awesome to sail from, all the Navy ships, the CBBT, so much to see. Marriott is the best hotel downtown, practically next to Nauticus pier.

I think you will like it. We have a new terminal that has just been built and will be finished in April. We have little mall right there called Waterside and MacArthur Mall within walking distance that is 3 floors. It is an upscale mall. If you have time take a cab to Virginia Beach. It is about 15 miles and you can walk along our boardwalk and see the Atlantic Ocean. The Marriott is the hotel right there by the cruise port, however, there are plenty of hotels to choose from scattered about.

 

Send for one of our tourist packages from state of Virginia. It will give you a wealth of info on all our hotels, entertainment, dining and anything else you could possibly want to do.
