Cruise Passenger Posted March 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Just noticed that my room is adjoining with another. Curious of others experience with this. I have read about smoke coming through door and magnified sound. If you have had one what has been your experience?
aceparty Posted March 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We have never had any problems as long as both doors are closed, but the people in the other room has always been family that don't smoke. As far as noise our six year old can be very loud and we never could hear her. Although, we was on the NCL Spirit in room 11668 and all we heard was the ping pong table at night even at 3-4am. michmike Posted March 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We travel w/ another couple and routinely request connecting rooms. As others have said, with both doors closed you really don't hear anything form next door. Then again, we are all in our late 50s and considerate of each other, so that helps. But overall, I wouldn't worry about it.
