:D I received my docs . I booked a balcony guarantee and they gave me my room number .Is there any chance that would change when we check in on board.

Most likely not but the cruise line has the discretion to make changes.

Once a cruise line sends out your docs with a cabin number on it you can be just about 100% positive that’s your cabin number. The fact that they have sent them out and assigned the numbers means they are closing the bookings – in other words, the cabin categories that would accommodate the guarantees are full and what you have is final. The only way it might change would be if there’s a problem with the particular cabin you were assigned or a very large group that has booked a good chunk of the ship suddenly needs a last minute change.

Generally thats it but if the upgrade fairy favours you there could be a change.

We were upgraded at check-in this year after having been assigned a cabin under a guarantee booking. We booked had booked a verandah category and then were assigned a higher category. Then, at check-in, we were upgraded again, to a deluxe verandah suite! :D So, it CAN happen! We don't expect upgrades, but when it happens, it is great!
