Shore Excursions

I want to book the dolphin encounter shore excursion through Carnival, however, I want to book the encounter itself for my DS and DH, but I want to come along to photograph/videotape and bring my DD (in a stroller). Do I have to call a rep to book this? I looked at the website and it will only book those who are doing the dolphin encounter (I'm not paying $115 to watch!)

I am looking at this excursion also, I called Carnival and they gave me a number for the excursion desk. When I called the excursion desk, they were not very helpful, said you could get an observer pass(onboard only) but they could not give me a price. I researched Blue Lagoon online, and you can get an observer pass for $20 at the ferry terminal. If you end up doing this excursion, could you please post a review, I am anxious to hear about it!!!!:D
